Some of my favorite paintings are now in private hands.
These are like children to me. Each one is unique and special. I have lost touch with some of them but I remember and treasure each and every one, To me (and to my collectors) they all capture something worthy of study and reflection. I hope that where ever they are, they are loved and treasured.
And to my patrons who purchased these treasures, thank you so very much for your support and allowing me to display them on my website. You cannot imagine how good it makes me feel to know that you think my work worthy of collecting.
Thank you for supporting living artists.
Blessings to you.
“Shushua” – My Ode To Joy
“Shushua” – My Ode To Joy, was created during one of the most joyful periods of her life – according to RjF: “It was a time when everything was going right in my life and everyone around me seemed to be happy and content as well. One day I felt inspired to try to capture the joy and incredible privilege of being alive with so much to explore and enjoy as gifts from the great creator”
The spirit and energy of this large canvas painting is just incredible. (Measures 40″ x 30″ – acrylic paint.) A spotlight makes the painting come alive and magically dominate a room.
“Deep in the Green”
“Deep in the Green” was painted during the intense spring of 2003. Nature had exploded with life, and though the mossy green foliage had covered just about everything, the remains of an old tin roof from a long abandoned shack in the woods was the inspiration for this unusual and interesting expressionist painting.
Areas of the painting protrude noticeably from the canvas, endlessly provoking the viewers imagination. “Simply Stunning” says the owner. (Measures 24″ x 24″)
“Perception” – Essentially a watercolor painting (20″ x 14″) which was created in 2002 during a deeply introspective time in RjF’s life. Searching for meaning, searching for answers, searching for relevance and direction. “Perception” is one of the paintings that emerged at this time.
“Glimpse Of Infinity”
“Oceans of Bijuku”
“Oceans of Bijuku” was painted from memories of an exotic trip as a younger lady to the East Coast of Africa . The incredible sights, sounds, smells, textures and tastes were the inspiration for this interesting and highly unusual minimalist painting.
“Shamanic Journey” – A small acrylic painting (10″ x 10″) created in 2004. The continuation of a deeply introspective time in RjF’s life. The continued search for meaning, search for answers, and search for relevance and direction led to the exploration of certain native spiritual practices. “Shamanic Journey” is another painting, capturing the essence of that time in her life.
